CHAPNET is divided into 9 Work Packages (WPs). Three cross-cutting WPs (1, 2 and3) are envisaged providing inputs into 6 key clusters.

The 6 key Clusters (WP 4 to 9) bring together a wide range of medium and long-term RTD activities in the field of CHP and will form collaborative links with other networks that are ongoing or planned for gas turbines, fuel cells and integration of distributed generation in electricity networks.

The clusters co-ordinate information exchange, strategic discussions about progress in RTD, future RTD needs and strategies for exploitation and dissemination.
